COSSONAY CRICKET CLUB
Cossonay Cricket Club was founded in 1989 and run entirely by volunteers. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming club and enjoy an excellent relationship with the local community. The only cricket club in the Swiss Canton of Vaud, we are situated around 18 km north of the Olympic Capital, Lausanne.
The Cossonay cricket ground is part of the various sports facilities of the picturesque commune of Cossonay and includes:
A dedicated cricket field with an artificial wicket
Two practice strips and moveable practice nets
All ages are welcome to come along and play. Our men's team have training sessions every Wednesday through spring and summer, while the juniors and women's sides train on the weekends. Please reach out to info@cossonay-cricket.com contact form for the latest schedules.
Juniors' cricket
Cossonay Cricket Club provides opportunities or boys and girls of all ages, whether they are picking up a bat for the first time or want to play in a representative competition we can cater for them.
Women's cricket
We are proud to be among the first clubs in Switzerland to have a women's programme. Open to all women who are interested in playing with league games and training played over weekends.
Men's cricket
Our men's side were the 2021 Cricket Switzerland Premier League champions, and comprised of a diverse group from around the world. They train every Wednesday and play league and friendly games over weekends.
